Dublin Square is almost ready

21 Dec

Yes, we all (semi-)mourned the loss of Swanky Bubbles in Cherry Hill, a pretty decent choice for happy hour or a fancy cocktail and, upstairs, some dance-worthy jams.

It’s rumored that in a few weeks its replacement, Dublin Square, will be opening. Pretty standard pub fare here (read: salads, burgers, fries), but there is a section on the menu dedicated to our Irish brethren (read: bangers, boxtys, and shepherd’s pie). Nice beer list with a few Belgians and imperial IPAs. Click here to view the site for the Bordentown outpost.

Cherry Hill’s Dublin Square will have a stone patio and fire pit. Yeah! Patio drinkin!

This definitely will be a change in scenery from happy hours at Swanky Bubbles, but its happy hour nonetheless. Get ready to clink those pint glasses.

*We’ll have more pics soon. Check back!

UPDATE 1.3.11

Stopped by Dublin Square today (the proposed opening date) and a sign posted on the door pretty much matches what they’ve posted on their Facebook page:

“We are invite only again tonight and tomorrow. We will be open when we are ready to give the level of product and service that u deserve.”

UPDATE 1.5.11

Open!

As long as they have Smithwicks on tap, we’ll give it a try. We pass the site frequently and wonder when it’s finally going to open.
