When I was a kid, I’d roam around Toys-R-Us for hours, scanning every aisle for the coolest game, newest Barbie, or raddest gizmo.  Once I hit puberty I thought I’d never feel that cheap, innocent joy again.  Fifteen years later, they opened Wine Works (319 W. Route 70).

There are tons of reasons we love this place and you should really go and discover your own reasons/form your own habits. But here’s the top five things we can’t stop talking about:

#5: Little Havana. A walk-in humidor with hundreds of cigars.

#4: Cheese case. You can snag some other snacks like crackers, pretzels, even gift baskets. 

#3: Wine Chiller. Grab a bottle off the shelf (that you intend to buy, of course) and pop it in the bath.  Pull it out a few minutes later, nicely chilled.

#2: BEER. Choose from a selection untouchable by other local establishments. To name a few they’ve got Avery, Stone and Duvel. And buh-bye to nasty kegs; here you can order practically any brew in in keg-form. Just ask the guy/gal at the info desk.

#1: Sample the Harvest. Purchase an access card for $10 that let’s you sip up to four 1-oz. pours per trip. Choose from over a dozen wines ready to dispense.
